Doñana National Park (also called "Coto Doñana") is a national park and a wildlife refuge in Andalusia. It has the greatest biodiversity of Europe.
It contains a great variety of ecosystems and shelters wildlife including thousands of European and African migratory birds, deer, and endangered species like the Spanish Imperial Eagle and Iberian Lynx.
However, in 2007 warned that strawberry farms surrounding the park threatened to cause catastrophic damage to the park by depleting the groundwater, as well as creating considerable pesticide pollution and plastic waste.
