Volcanoes and earthquakes

The surface of the earth is continuously moving, although very slowly. When one section of the earth collides with another cause earthquakes.

However, volcanoes happen when the earth's layer is very thin. Then, lava, dust and gases go out from beneath the earth. They can explode directly from the earth without no warning.

Natural disasters like volcanoes are often unpredictable. We do not know if they will happen or not. However, scientists can predict where an earthquake will probably take place, but now when. That is why they are so dangerous.
